A graduate of Vanderbilt Law School, Gray served as a staff attorney in federal trial and appellate courts. In addition to assisting F&L on issues of federal law, Gray worked closely with Susan to brief and refine the arguments that led to our unprecedented 21-case winning streak. His own practice focuses on civil and criminal appeals, and postconviction review. Gray serves as an assistant editor for the Appellate Practice Committee's "The Record," and also sits on the Bloomberg BNA Criminal Law Reporter Advisory Board. Gray has published articles in The Florida Bar Journal, the Federal Sentencing Reporter, BNA's publications, and The Record. He was chosen as a Rising Star and member of Orlando's Legal Elite by Orlando Style. This year, Judge Tjoflat appointed him as pro bono counsel for the appeal of a federal prisoner civil rights suit.
